<p>My name is Josie Goldberg. I hope you don&#8217;t mind me calling you friend but I feel like I already know you. You see, I have been helping people just like you lose weight and regain their health since Jane Fonda pulled on her first set of leg warmers &#8211; and I am on a mission!</p>
<p>When I was growing up my best friend was overweight. I spent my whole school life watching how painful it was for her. I decided I never wanted this to happen to me or anyone I cared about. I didn&#8217;t realize it at the time but the massive pain I attached to being overweight back then shaped my life forever. With your permission I would like to share with you something I believe will truly help give you the <strong><a href="http://www.weightlossmotivationtools.com" target=_self>motivation to lose weight</a></strong>.</p>
<p>Whether you have been stuck on the weight loss roller coaster for a long time or are on your first attempt to lose weight,  THERE IS SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!  Statistics say 95% of people who lose weight put it all back on, and often gain even more, within 2 years. This is an alarming statistic but the good news is I am going to help you understand why, so you can become one of the 5% who loses their weight once and for all.</p>
<p>Most people know that to lose weight they need an eating and exercise plan, but there is a third essential component to weight loss.  In fact, it&#8217;s the reason for the 95% failure rate. Without it you will never successfully get the weight off and keep it off. Are you curious yet?</p>
<p>The third step (which should really be the first step) is a plan for your mind. No, I&#8217;m not talking about positive thinking or affirmations, which are also helpful, I am talking about the science of training your brain to develop the skills which give you the <em>motivation to lose weight</em>.</p>
<p>The reason we fail to accomplish anything in life is because we don&#8217;t take ACTION.  The reason don&#8217;t take action is we don&#8217;t have a strong enough REASON why. What motivates human beings do anything is; to avoid pain, gain pleasure or a combination of both. For most people avoiding pain is the strongest motivation. If you have not been able to lose weight or keep it off in the past, it&#8217;s most likely because you think doing the things you need to do to lose weight will be too painful. What do I mean by this?</p>
<p>If when you think about losing weight, you immediately think, &#8220;Oh no, I will have to give up something I love (like chocolate or alcohol)&#8221; or &#8220;I hate exercising&#8221;, or &#8220;It&#8217;s just all too much effort&#8221; etc etc you will never, ever succeed!  Why am I telling you this? Because by knowing this, you now have the power to change it and join the 5%. The fact that you are here visiting this site, and seeking more <strong>weight loss motivation</strong> information means you are one of the 10% of people who proactively looks for ways to improve their lives. This tells me that you absolutely have what it takes to succeed. You just need to know how to apply the skills we are all born with.</p>
<p>Yes thats right, every single one of us has the capability to direct our minds and our emotions, we just need a plan! To lose your weight forever you must change how you feel about losing weight. By redirecting your thoughts you will  change your behaviour towards it.  Right now ask yourself this question, &#8220;In the past, what have I focused on most when trying to lose weight?&#8221; For example when someone offers you a piece of chocolate have you thought things like, &#8220;I really want it but I <em>have</em> to lose weight.&#8221; While you may have found the strength in some moments to resist the chocolate, your underlying feeling is that you are being dreprived. Eventually your will power runs out and you are right back where you started, on the weight loss roller coaster again!  If you are always thinking, &#8220;<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.weightlossmotivationtools.com" target=_self>why cant I lose weight</a></span>&#8221; your brain is searching for ways to make that your reality!</p>
<p>Hopefully by now you are already starting to think, &#8220;<em>I absolutely CAN lose weight</em>!&#8221; simply by retraining your brain to focus instead on how great you will look and how healthy you are becoming.  Wait.  Stop reading and take a moment to really think about this.  Close your eyes and imagine how truly awesome it will feel to be your ideal weight and to feel healthy and energetic again.  Image how proud you will feel and how impressed and relieved your friends and family will be.  You might even inspire some of them.  How different would your life be?</p>
<p>By changing your focus, you CAN change your life!  It may sound simplistic but it&#8217;s true.  What you focus on most is what causes you to TAKE ACTION, and action is the only way to get results! When what you think about most is &#8220;how great I will look and feel when I lose those extra kilos&#8221; your brain will automatically search for ways to make that happen.</p>
<p>Have you ever decided you wanted something, like say a particular brand of car or breed of dog. All of a sudden you see those cars or dogs everywhere. Do you think everyone else suddenly went out and bought that car or dog?  No, it&#8217;s because now you are focused on wanting that car or dog and your brain automatically looks for it, and finds them everywhere you go. How cool is that! But here is the downside, if you focus on how hard it will be, or what you will have to give up to lose weight, what do you think your brain will search for then?????  Yep, you got it, lots of reasons &#8220;<em>why I cant lose weight</em>&#8221; and ways to fail.</p>
<p>Now you have the answer to why you and so many people are stuck on the weight loss roller coaster. What will you do? In this moment you are at a crossroad. You know what has been keeping you stuck and that you CAN get yourself out of this cycle -  but that knowledge will do nothing for you unless you put it into ACTION. If you leave this page and don&#8217;t change a thing, where will you be in 10 years from now? Please don&#8217;t put this off a second longer. What you choose today is what you will get tomorrow and the day after &#8211; but remember it&#8217;s like interest and everyday it compounds. The weight gain, the loss of health, your self esteem will all get worse with every passing day. You must decide now what you ultimately want. The challenge is the same for all of us, until we move on from &#8220;should or could&#8221; we don&#8217;t or won&#8217;t take the action necessary to improve the quality of our lives. Weight loss doesn&#8217;t happen by knowing what you CAN do to lose weight. It only happens from what you WILL do.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sorry if I am being too straight forward about how important <strong>weight loss motivation </strong>is, but I really do care about you and I hope you can feel that. I don&#8217;t want to tell you what to do, I just want you to really understand the choices you are making and how they are affecting your life, so you will feel inspired to make choices that will bring you happiness.</p>
<p>On this site you will find lots more information, tools and support to help you get your mind in the best shape possible. Once you have mastered your emotional fitness for weight loss those skills are transferable to every area of  your life. Imagine how empowered you will feel once you have shed those kilos. The strength and personal power you get from this accomplishment will then propel you in every area of your life. THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t want to tell you what to do. I believe self education is the most effective way to learn and grow. By considering all things with an open mind and applying your own logic you will discover what makes sense for you. If you take what works for you and give 100% you can&#8217;t fail. <p><span style="font-size: small;">We all have something we struggle with, but these are the things that can push us to learn and grow.&nbsp; I come from a family of chronic worriers.&nbsp; My grandma had 5 nervous break downs and when&nbsp;my marriage broke down I started to suffer from anxiety attacks.&nbsp; I have never taken any drug&nbsp;and I have never had an anxiety attack since, thanks to the wisdom of my wonderful doctor who&nbsp;gave me a book which said I&nbsp;could control my symptoms simply by controlling my mind.&nbsp; What a life changing discovery!&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"> That&#8217;s why I want to share everything I have learned about the science of the mind with you. <p><span style="font-size: small;">The idea of tattooing love, happiness, courage and faith somewhere on my body sounded way too painful, even in chinese symbols, so was never going to happen! I was sitting on the beach at Byron Bay&nbsp;playing in the sand with my feet and dug up a&nbsp;silver bracelet. I took it to the police station but no-one claimed it so I decided to engrave it. I was going through a horrible divorce at the time and was very anxious and stressed. </span> <span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">At first in&nbsp;those moments when I needed it I would&nbsp;stop and read the&nbsp;words on the bracelet but after a while all I had to do was hold the bracelet and instead of falling to pieces my mind&nbsp;would refocus on&nbsp;my outcome and find a solution. </span> <span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;">very minute of every day you are faced with thousands of choices. What to eat, what to do, what to think and the decisions you make are what produces your future experience. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Even when you choose not to make a choice, you are actually choosing to recreate the same life circumstances. </span> <span style="font-size: small;">I hope your reaction to this is OMG and a massive alarm bell but don&#8217;t stress&#8230;think about it for a second.  If you created your current state, that means you are equally capable of making choices and decisions that will shed those unwanted kilos. </span> <span style="font-size: small;">This is step two. Becoming aware that you are making those choices and learning simple tools to improve your decision making skills will massively change the way you do things. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"> When I was first presented with this concept I completely&nbsp;freaked out and totally denied I could possibly be responsible for all the things I didn&#8217;t like about my life, BTW don&#8217;t worry, this is a completely normal human reaction! </span> <span style="font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Then I started to think about what this information really meant. Once I realized I&nbsp;actually had a choice over my life circumstances and could choose a different future I knew I had just been given the key to&nbsp;personal freedom. </span> <span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">I was raised in a very strict home where I lived by rules like children should be seen and not heard, respect your elders, do as you are told blah, blah ,blah. I love my Dad and understand he had my best interest at heart but as a result I had absolutely no sense of personal power. I obediently did whatever anyone with an opinion told me to do. </span> <span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">In my early twenties I moved to Los Angeles and despite the fact I was living in Hollyood I suddenly found myself with no one to direct me. Needless to say without this very basic life skill I was completely lost, depressed and afraid. I will never forget the day that my best friend and neighbour Darrin, after listening to me cry about all my problems for the hundreth time, patiently looked at me and said, &#8220;This is your life girlfriend, if you don&#8217;t like it just do something to change it!&#8221; </span> <span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Those simple words of advice changed my life forever and I have spent my life sharing them with everyone I can. Now I am&nbsp;sharing them with you and even though I don&#8217;t know you I hope they will help you as much as they helped me. </span> <span style="font-size: small;">You already have lots of knowledge about how to lose weight so by being aware of your choices and&nbsp;deciding to make the choices that will help you lose weight you will start to develop new habits. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">If you only picked two small things that you already know about <strong>losing weight</strong> and committed right now to doing just those two, no matter what, you would immediately start to lose weight. </span> <span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">These small steps are the building blocks of self belief and&nbsp;ultimate success.  The only thing stopping you from <em>losing weight.</em></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">If you do nothing you will just keep gaining weight</span> and losing health but if you commit to taking even a few small actions you will lose weight and improve the quality of your life forever</span><span style="font-size: small;"> right now is not having the tools to help you take action and make the shift&nbsp; from what you know you can do to&nbsp;what you know you must do. </span> <span style="font-size: small;"></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">The only way to fail at anything is to not take any action.&nbsp;You are at a crossroad right now what will you do? </span></p>

then l looked at the before shot and reality set in. Still beautiful but theres a whole pile more<br />
of me.</p>
<p>What an incredible program this is &amp; what an incredible incentive it would be if you stuck<br />
the after shot on the fridge so you could say no to the stuff you know you shouldn&#8217;t have. You have sold me darlin.</p>

<p><span style="font-size: small;">No matter how much knowledge someone has, it is only potential power. Knowledge without applied action is a fast track to nowhere. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">To reach your weight loss goals you must mentally condition yourself for success first. No matter how hard you diet or workout, without developing the right <strong>emotional fitness</strong> you just won&#8217;t succeed longterm. You are one of the smart few who recognize this, or you wouldn&#8217;t be here reading this right now. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">You must exert your will everyday to build strong mental muscles. You must demand more of yourself than you think possible in this moment. What makes the difference in human behaviour and allows one person to succeed while the next one fails, regardless of circumstances? </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">In my early years as a coach I just couldn&#8217;t understand why, no matter what I did to improve my clients diet or workout, there was always a group of super achievers. I have spent my whole life studying the science behind this. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">What I have learned through 30 years of coaching and thousands of hours and dollars spent on studying is actually really quite simple; you and everyone else on this planet have those skills within you right now. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">The only difference is whether you learn to master them or not. If you do, not only will you <em>lose your weight permanently</em> but you will also learn skills that can be applied to any other area of your life. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"> The best and fastest way to learn these skills is by modelling someone that has already succeed at what you want to accomplish. We can all benefit from having a coach. Someone to encourage and challenge us, someone to remind us of our value and the value of what we are trying to acheive. Someone who cares about us and wants to see us live up to our potential, and can teach us <span style="text-decoration: underline;">mastering emotional fitness</span> &#8211; which will benefit you in all areas of your life..</span></p>

<p>The choices you are making all day long are creating actions that are either moving you closer to or further away from your <strong>weight loss goals</strong>. Unfortunately it is so easy to get sabotaged by excuses, but the only way you will ever lose that weight is if you can learn the skills needed to stop making excuses, stop hoping someday it will happen and face the fact that the only way you are going to get what you want is to say no to excuses and start taking action that produces <span style="text-decoration: underline;">weight loss results</span>.</p>
<p>Every one of us has that little voice in our head that wants to make it ok to quit and give up, but for all of us that only leads to worse feelings of inadequacy and hopelessness, and diminishes our enjoyment of life. We all have fears and one of the biggest human fears seems to be that of failure.  By developing tools that help you be flexible in your thinking you can start to view your failures as opportunites. In fact it is impossible to succeed without failure because failure is what teaches us what is working for us and what isn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t let your fear stop you. You are worth more than the way you are living right now. There is a philosophy that says success is the result of good judgement but good judgement can only be gained through bad judgement. We are all a work in progress and the more able we are to accept this, the more easily we can start to see our mistakes and frustrations as opportunites to learn and grow.</p>
<p>Think of anything you once found difficult but now take for granted as a skill you have mastered.  For me it was learning to drive. I thought I would never be able to do it. Change gears, steer, indicate, hit the clutch, hit the brake, watch for pedestrians and oncoming cars, watch your rear view mirror for bicycles and cars behind you OMG but before I knew it I could drive while putting on my makeup, feeding my baby his bottle (in the back seat) and at the same time have a heated discussion with my husband about raising children. How did I ever do it?</p>
<p>I simply followed some simple rules and everything I did wrong I made  changes to until I got it right!  Losing weight is exactly the same you just keep changing the things that don&#8217;t work and keep fine tuning what you are doing until you succeed. Taking small steps in the right direction helps you build on that success and gives you the courage to keep trying. Pay close attention to your behaviour and notice the <em>weight loss results</em> you are getting from your actions.</p>
